4. IVA Bell India Pale Lager • 6.2% | 31 IBUs
This is the kind of beer where the term “Craft” comes out to play. This India Pale Lager is a style-bender, fermented crisp and cool with Mexican Lager yeast but incorporating loads of hops similar to a typical IPA. A healthy dash of sweet and bready Munich malt balances the bold hop profile of Nelson Sauvin to create a crisp and refreshing, yet complex brew. Generous whirlpool and dry-hop additions showcase this New Zealand-grown variety’s distinctive fruity character of crushed gooseberry and white grape reminiscent of a sauvignon blanc, complemented with subtle notes of citrus and tropical fruit.

This hop medley packs a punch of potent tropical fruit, featuring notes of guava, pineapple, and ripe citrus. Plenty of wheat malt, rolled oats, and pilsner malt give this Hazy DIPA a beautiful golden-orange color, and create a smooth, velvety mouthfeel.
