Our new line of hard seltzers start with the freshest free-range alpine water around. We add sugar, yeast, and allow this libation to ferment completely before adding natural flavorings. This hard seltzer has a touch of sweetness and a smooth, dry finish for a refreshing change up among our beer offerings!
2. Summer Triple Belgian Tripel • 7.5% | 24 IBUs
Everyone moves to Mammoth for the winter snows, and winter in the Eastern Sierra is great, but no one would stay very long if it wasn't for the summers. Summer in Mammoth is magical. The weather is perfect to lose yourself in the backcountry and recreate your favorite way. Some of our favorite ways are the Triple of Climbing, Biking, and Fishing. Also, of course, enjoying our Belgian-Style Summer Triple after one of these adventures.
3. Gooseberry Sour • 7.0% | 2.5 IBUs
This beer has a bright and hazy magenta color with most of the color imparted from the gooseberry puree and black currants we add after fermentation. You’ll notice the juicy flavors of gooseberry, black currant, sour grape, tart apple, and strawberry, complimented by a light lemonade like tartness - refreshing till the last sip! A great beer to enjoy as warmer days come our way! Grab a glass and enjoy with friends out in our beer garden as spring rolls into the Eastern Sierra!
4. Minaret Maibock • 8.3% | 51 IBUs
Our Maibock has a beautiful golden color, but don’t be deceived, it’s a strong beer with lots of character. Slightly sweet toasted malt flavors from Pilsner and Munich malts meet a careful balance with earthy and floral flavors from Tettnanger and Hallertau hops. This beer is sure to lead to a lively evening with medium body and balanced finish, hiding its strength with easy drinkability. This style was originally crafted to blend the heavy Bock-style lagers created at monasteries with the lighter pilsner-style lagers coming to popularity in Bavaria during the 1800s. Raise a glass to approaching summer weather and many memories to be made here in Mammoth Lakes and the Eastern Sierra!
5. Sherwin Stout • 5.2% | 35 IBUs
The Sherwin Oatmeal Stout is a new limited winter offering! Oatmeal Stouts are distinct from other Stout varieties by a significant addition of rolled oats in the mash, which helps develop a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Our brew has the texture of rich velvet as you dive into layers of dark and roasty delights like dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, and toffee. Bold in flavor, lightly sweet, yet lower in alcohol makes it a great full-bodied sessionable brew. Our selection of dark malts contribute layers of flavor without too much roast bitterness and Tettnanger hops compliment the malt flavors with a touch of earthy/floral character.
6.Blondibock • 10.7% | 6.2 IBUs
After primary fermentation this German-Style Blonde Bock was aged for six months in American Oak Bourbon Barrels from Frey Ranch Farmers + Distillers (Fallon, NV), picking up much of its color and flavor. Blondibock is a summertime complement to our winter Lair of the Bear Imperial Stout, also barrel-aged, and it heralds the local bears' emergence from hibernation to enjoy the splendor and magnificence of summer in the High Sierra. This beer will bottle age with grace. Enjoy one now and save another(or two!) in a cool dark place for annual comparison.
7. 25th Anniversary Sky Bear Ale - Belgian-Style Quadrupel Ale • 15.7% | 37 IBUs
This Belgian-Style Quadrupel Ale is decadent, worthy of rewarding our survival of our latest trip around the sun. Dripping with rich flavors and aromas of toffee, dark fruit and toasty caramel, this beer is best enjoyed from a tulip glass for the fullest experience. Pop open a bottle now and save another for the cellar.
