3. Summer Triple Belgian Tripel • 7.5% | 24 IBUs
Everyone moves to Mammoth for the winter snows, and winter in the Eastern Sierra is great, but no one would stay very long if it wasn't for the summers. Summer in Mammoth is magical. The weather is perfect to lose yourself in the backcountry and recreate your favorite way. Some of our favorite ways are the Triple of Climbing, Biking, and Fishing. Also, of course, enjoying our Belgian-Style Summer Triple after one of these adventures.
4. Cherry Sour • 7.0% | 2.5 IBUs
No fruit says “summer” more than cherries at the peak of ripeness. We’ve captured that seasonal experience in a bottle (and removed all the pits for you in the process). Soured in our Kettle with fast-souring Lactobacillus to achieve the desired level of tartness, the wort is then boiled and hops are added to give a little balance of flavor. After finishing fermentation with our house yeast, this brew was blended with Tart-Cherry puree for a refreshing lemonade-like tartness with a pleasant effervescence to make this brew a perfect libation to cap off a day of recreation during the heat of the summer. Best enjoyed in a Tulip Shaped Glass!
5. 25th Annual Bluesapalooza Triple IPA • 10% | 71 IBUs
Our 25th Annual Bluesapalooza Blues and Brews Festival demanded something special to commemorate such a milestone. A bold and bitter behemoth, this Triple IPA is fermented with Norwegian Horndindal Kveik yeast to add a fun twist to this hop-head’s delight. The medley of hops showcase a punchbowl of tropical fruit and citrus character such as Mango, Sweet Lime, Mandarin, and Melon. This strain of Kveik yeast ferments with a fruity and citrusy ester profile to complement hop flavor and aroma, while a generous malt bill contributes a full and smooth body with bright golden-orange color.
6. Fire & Eisbock • 8.4% | 26 IBUs
Fire and Ice Bock is an Eisbock style Lager that is malt forward with rich notes of caramel and toffee. Eisbock style lagers, compared to the more widely known lighter lagers, are higher in alcohol and flavor, and are usually darker in color. They are traditionally lightly freeze distilled, meaning the temperature of the finished product is brought below freezing temperatures to freeze off some of the residual water content. This concentrates both flavor and potency. With a deep ruby brown color, this beer will be sure to warm you from the inside out on a chilly evening, but is still smooth and rich to enjoy anytime you crave something with a little more oompfff! This Lager also ages well for those who like to cellar specialty bottles!
7.Blondibock • 10.7% | 6.2 IBUs
After primary fermentation this German-Style Blonde Bock was aged for six months in American Oak Bourbon Barrels from Frey Ranch Farmers + Distillers (Fallon, NV), picking up much of its color and flavor. Blondibock is a summertime complement to our winter Lair of the Bear Imperial Stout, also barrel-aged, and it heralds the local bears' emergence from hibernation to enjoy the splendor and magnificence of summer in the High Sierra. This beer will bottle age with grace. Enjoy one now and save another(or two!) in a cool dark place for annual comparison.
