Generously dry hopped with nearly three pounds per barrel, this brew gushes smooth hop flavor with very low bitterness to keep you coming back for more. Bask in the aromas of fresh squeezed orange juice, pineapple, and ripe stone fruit, while your palette is washed with flavors of candied fruit and tropical fruit medley! Refresh, relax, and reward yourself with a pint to celebrate another adventure in the books!
2. Apres All Day Session IPA • 5.2% | 58 IBUs
Our latest small batch brew is a crisp and refreshing Session IPA. Light in color and ABV, but featuring bold hop character and bitterness, we added pilsner and carafoam malts to help create a brilliant golden-straw color, light body, and a crisp dry finish. The combination of Columbus, Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops highlights a bold array of flavors unencumbered by maltier IPA styles. This blend of hops brings forth notes of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit to dominate the flavor profile of this totally crushable late summer special release.
3. Sierra Wave Hazy Double IPA • 7.5% | 25 IBUs
This Hazy Double IPA is a juice-bomb, sure to quench the thirst of even the most critical of IPA aficionados. Carefully crafted for monstrous hop flavor with mild bitterness, Citra and Amarillo hops are added to the whirlpool and then we generously dry hop this brew with Mosaic and Amarillo. This hop medley packs a punch of potent tropical fruit, featuring notes of guava, pineapple, and ripe citrus. Plenty of wheat malt, rolled oats, and pilsner malt give this Hazy DIPA a beautiful golden-orange color, and create a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. Best enjoyed fresh, this seasonal offering always sells fast!
4. Bluesapalooza Summer Grog Double IPA • 8.7% | 74 IBUs
This release, made specifically to serve at Bluesaplaooza & the Mammoth Festival of Beers, was brewed in collaboration with the generous folks from our primary ingredient supplier, BSG. These wonderful people hand picked an incredible selection of hops for us to use in this bodacious Double IPA. BSG, known for supplying brewers around the world with the finest ingredients available, chose El Dorado, Comet, and Cashmere hops for us to showcase. This combination brings forward bold and delightful fruity flavors typical of All American IPA styles. Juicy tropical fruit flavors abound, featuring notes of pineapple, mango, and melon, accented with a kick of grapefruit and lemon/lime citrus character. This hop-heads delight is deceivingly smooth and pours with a brilliant golden-orange hue. Enjoy the juice, backed up with traditional bitterness. Best enjoyed fresh, so try a taster at our beer tent, and hurry to our Tap Room to grab a pint and fill a growler before it's gone!
5. Earthquake F-Altbier • 6% | 31 IBUs
We went a little off the beaten path with this Fall specialty brew. A change from hop-forward, juicy summer beer styles, to more traditional malt-forward characteristics of Fall beer styles. You may have been expecting a lager, but we took a different route, and brewed an Altbier. The light mahogany color refracts the light to make this beer stand out in our line up. Toasted (not roasted!) malt aroma and flavor boldly stands out in the forefront, complimented by the moderate bitterness and floral/spicy noble character of generous additions of Hersbrucker hops. Enjoy the rich malty/bready flavors of Munich and Vienna malts, such as toasted biscuit, hazelnut, and a subtle hint of caramel/toffee. Light body, smooth mouthfeel, and easy drinkability certainly make this beer a new favorite amongst the brewing team!
6. Summer Triple • 7.4% | 24 IBUs
Everyone moves to Mammoth for the winter snows, and winter in the Eastern Sierra is great, but no one would stay very long if it wasn't for the summers. Summer in Mammoth is magical. The weather is perfect to lose yourself in the backcountry and recreate your favorite way. Some of our favorite ways are the Triple of Climbing, Biking, and Fishing. Also, of course, enjoying our Belgian-Style Summer Tripel after one of these adventures.
7. Elderberry Sour • 7% | 3 IBUs
Our Elderberry Kettle Sour Ale is a staff-favorite seasonal offering. One of the few varieties of edible berries found in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, you’ll find elderberries growing near lakes and streams in alpine canyons! A signature powder-blue color signifies when they are ripe, but move fast because they’re highly sought after by people and animals alike! This beer has a deep magenta color, an effervescent carbonation, and a lemonade-like tartness, creating a truly attractive beverage. Elderberries offer flavors and aromas of an earthy lemon-like citrus crossed with a unique yet familiar “wild berry” character.
