We’re excited for you to try the Winter Release of our Hop Spill Hazy IPA series - always a crowd pleaser, we aim to knock your socks off with this juicy hop-bomb. Crafted with a unique hop medley for each seasonal release. We generously dry hop this brew with nearly three pounds per barrel and it simply gushes with smooth hop flavor with very low bitterness to keep you coming back for more. For this release, we used a blend of Centennial, Amarillo, and Sultana hops to shower your palate with the flavors and aromas of pungent ripe pineapple, bright orange citrus, hints of grapefruit, and a touch of resinous pine! Refresh, relax, and reward yourself with a pint to celebrate another adventure in the books!

We present to you the return of our Floating Rock German Hefeweizen. With an improved recipe, this classic Mammoth Original is back with a traditional burst of yeast-forward flavor. A light haze and golden-straw color come from the German Hefeweizen yeast and generous additions of wheat malt. The German Hefe yeast we chose, layers fruity and spicy aromas and flavors like banana and clove sitting atop mild malty sweetness and noble hop character making this beer a refreshing, casual sipper for the wheat beer aficionado. Join us to memorialize the last weeks of summer fun, and revel in the beauty of nature’s playground.
3. Elderberry Sour • 7.0% | 3 IBUs
Our Elderberry Kettle Sour Ale is a staff-favorite seasonal offering. One of the few varieties of edible berries found in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, you’ll find elderberries growing near lakes and streams in alpine canyons! A signature powder-blue color signifies when they are ripe, but move fast because they’re highly sought after by people and animals alike! This beer has a deep magenta color, an effervescent carbonation, and a lemonade-like tartness, creating a truly attractive beverage. Elderberries offer flavors and aromas of an earthy lemon-like citrus crossed with a unique yet familiar “wild berry” character.
4. Summer Triple Belgian Tripel • 7.5% | 24 IBUs
Everyone moves to Mammoth for the winter snows, and winter in the Eastern Sierra is great, but no one would stay very long if it wasn't for the summers. Summer in Mammoth is magical. The weather is perfect to lose yourself in the backcountry and recreate your favorite way. Some of our favorite ways are the Triple of Climbing, Biking, and Fishing. Also, of course, enjoying our Belgian-Style Summer Triple after one of these adventures.
5. Fire & Eisbock • 8.4% | 26 IBUs
Our Eisbock, aptly named for our “Land of Fire & Ice” encapsulates the history of our region and the elements of the brewing process for this lager-style beer all distilled into a unique early winter seasonal Lager. Utilizing a variety of Munich-style malts, this beer tantalizes the pallet with prominent aromas and flavors like toasted caramel and toffee, sweet bread, and biscuit - but with each sip you will begin to notice the more nuanced characteristics of dark candied fruit, raisins, and even a light nutty quality, all balanced with a very light floral quality imparted from Saaz hops. A perfect libation for anytime you crave something with a little more oompfff, and as a bonus this is a great beer to age in the cellar - responsibly store some cans for annual comparison!
6. Blondibock • 10.7% | 7 IBUs
This light in color, but full-bodied strong lager is a great example of how light colored beers can pack a punch! A deep golden color will fill your glass as you pour from the bottle, wafting up scents of vanilla, oak, and caramel. Upon a first sip, you’ll notice much of what you smell – a revolving door of malt-forward, decadent and boozy flavors of the oak bourbon barrels – vanilla, oak, toasted malt, caramel, dark toffee, and the subtle funk of lager yeast. Always a hit during summers in Mammoth Lakes, be sure to grab a couple bottles to enjoy now, as well as to cellar and compare annually! To store bottles for months or even over a year, keep them in a cool dark place - Like all barrel aged beer, this brew is best enjoyed from Tulip shaped glassware.
7.Lair of the Bear • 12.5% | 58 IBUs
Lair of the Bear is our hefty Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout, a true winter delight as we eagerly anticipate cold and snowy weather. Primary fermentation takes place in a stainless steel fermenter, then the beer hibernates for seven months in whiskey bourbon barrels from Frey Ranch, Farmers + Distillers before blending and bottling. Cozy up by the fire and immerse yourself in the aromas and tasting notes of chocolate, vanilla and caramel. This beer will bottle-age with grace - enjoy one now and save another in a cool dark place to open for annual comparison!
