Dear employees, wholesalers and retail partners –

Ryan and I are excited to announce that, as of today, we are merging our two great brands and families together to create one larger company that focuses on creating great experiences with great beers.

Both brands  – Mammoth Brewing Company and Lead Dog Brewing Company – will remain unique and distinct from each other, and grow side by side into the future promoting Outdoor Recreation and Sustainable Tourism in the Eastern Sierra of California and Western Expanse of Nevada.

Mammoth Brewing Company was founded as the first craft brewery in the Eastern Sierra in 1995. MBC operates a small brewery and tasting room at 8,000' elevation in Mammoth Lakes, CA and has distribution in Southern California and Northern Nevada. Mammoth Brewing Company also hosts the Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza in Mammoth Lakes on the first weekend in August.

Lead Dog Brewing Company was founded in 2016 in Reno, Nevada, and quickly moved into a larger production facility in Sparks. Lead Dog has distribution throughout all of Nevada & Arizona, and most of California. Lead Dog will continue to operate its two existing Tasting Rooms in the Brewery District of Reno and at its production facility at E. Glendale & S.McCarran.

There will be no change in brand names nor reduction in focus of either brand, and there are no plans to reduce personnel. If anything, both brands are excited to grow with additional people, products & packages, and a revitalization of all locations. Mammoth Beers LLC, as the new parent company to both brands, has a strong history of employee retention and engagement in our local communities.

This spring, in addition to both brand's continual seasonal & specialty releases,

• Mammoth Brewing Company is releasing its award-winning Double Nut Brown in 16oz cans, and specialty beers (brewed in ML) including its Gooseberry Sour, Minaret Maibock and 25th Anniversary Belgian Quad Ale.

• Lead Dog Brewing will be releasing its number 1 seller – Citra Solo – in 19.2oz cans, and additional seasonal releases including Secret Stash North East IPA and Intergalactic Hazy IPA.
