Bluesapalooza 20th Anniversary

2015’s festival beer was brewed to celebrate 20 years of wild times at the Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza. The event’s 20th anniversary specialty beer was fermented with three strains of Brettanomyces wild yeasts, then aged on apricots, elderflowers, and French oak. The wild character will develop more with age, as will some of us!

Mmm: Brett funk, french oak, with an apricot finish that is refreshing and lovely; our head brewer’s favorite beer this year.


ABV: 6.0%

We can truly say this beer has been 20 years in the making. During that time, brewing techniques, recipes and a passion for beer have been passed on from brewer to brewer – not to mention an appreciation for brewing at 8,000 feet! These four elements have come together to craft what we consider to be a pretty special brew to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Mmm: Barrel-aged for six months with a malty body and accents of plum. This beer is best savored in the company of friends.
